Dubliner Árón Smith has started 2015 in the best possible way as he welcomes Centurion Warranties as his newest partner in the British Touring Car Championship for this season. Smith, who remains at Team BMR for 2015 with the now proven Volkswagen Passat CC package, is aiming to build on an impressive debut season for the team in 2014. Visiting the podium on no less than three occasions, twice on the top step, Árón finished the season ninth overall in the championship and leading Team BMR driver.
Kent based firm Centurion Warranties, specialises in warranty products and other associated products across the UK for the Automotive Industry. Looking to continue their expansion in 2015 with a new website on the horizon amongst other plans, Centurion Warranties identified Árón and the British Touring Car Championship as the ideal springboard to boost the profile of their brand.
Geoff Baker (Managing Director), Centurion Warranties:
“Centurion is very excited to be partnering Árón in the 2015 BTCC. It’s a great opportunity for us to promote and expand our brand whilst providing ongoing support to Árón who we hope will build upon his podium finishes in 2014. We are very much looking forward to becoming a major sponsor in the coming years and growing with Árón’s predicted success…”
Árón Smith, Team BMR:
“I am absolutely delighted to welcome Centurion Warranties as my newest partner for the 2015 season. This really couldn’t be a better time for companies like Centurion to join the championship given its ever-increasing popularity across the UK. With both TV and trackside audiences growing, I’m certainly looking forward to promoting their brand at the sharp end of the field in 2015!”
