2015 Kirkistown Motor Racing Season Gets Into Gear
THE 2015 Northern Ireland motor racing season gets into gear at Kirkistown circuit on Saturday 28th March organised by the 500 Motor Racing Club of Ireland.
Two Formula Ford Championships will feature on the packed programme with the opening rounds of the Irish and Northern Ireland Championships. Amongst the entry will be County Antrim’s Jonny McMullan who begins a very busy season driving the Motorsport Ireland supported car which will see him in action also at a number of mainland circuits.
Further single seater action will be provided by Formula Vee and this competitive series had its opening round at Mondello Park two weeks ago where Ray Moore emerged the winner. At the County Down circuit he can expect close competition from the likes of Dan Polley and David O’Brien.
Increasingly popular is the one make series for Ford Fiestas and this low cost saloon racing class goes from strength to strength and fans have two races to look forward to and the good news for fans of these tin top racers, entries are up for the new season.
