April 11th & 12th will see the start of another exciting year of the Adelaide Masters Series, Ireland’s biggest Motorcycle Racing Championship which will once more be supported by Motorcycle Insurance Specialists Adelaide Motorbike Insurance.
As usual at this time of year Ireland’s fastest ‘Short Circuit’ Motorcycle Racers are preparing to do battle once again, with the Adelaide Masters being their arena of choice. The championship provides the best platform for Irish riders to build their careers with the progress of both of last year’s champions into the British Superbike package being the latest evidence of the series success.
To improve the championship’s relevance to International racing this season’s Superbike and Supersport races will run over a longer distance and will feature a British Superbike style qualifying system. In order to mix up the grid for races two and three, qualifying will now only decide the grid for race one with the starting order for the remaining races being decided by riders fastest lap times from the previous race. This will mix up the grid and make it more important than ever to push hard throughout all three races.
The Adelaide Masters Series remains the only Irish series which offers a substantial prize fund at every event along with season long promotion. Added to this for 2015 will be expanded Mondello.TV Live streaming coverage with a dedicated commentary team and a more compact TV schedule concentrating on the featured Superbike and Supersport classes.
The Adelaide Masters Series will run from April till October over a five event fourteen race schedule. The championship will race four times at Mondello Park and will also return to Bishopscourt Co. Down for the circuits’ first ever Sunday Motorcycle Racing date.
