Country Star Rallies into Downpatrick
High profile country singer Nathan Carter will return to his County Down roots when he takes to the roads outside Downpatrick in a rally car on Good Friday, as part of the 2015 Discover Northern Ireland Circuit of Ireland Rally 2-4 April. The ‘Wagon Wheel’ star who has chalked up five hit albums in his career to date will experience Circuit stages from the ‘co-driver’ seat at Hamilton’s Folly and Bucks Head as well as the Downpatrick Regroup session on Friday 3rd April at approximately 2.30pm.

On Good Friday (3rd April) Downpatrick’s St Patrick’s Square will be a hub for the Circuit of Ireland which kicks off at 10.30am with a Ceremonial Start for the ‘National’ entries in the Circuit of Ireland. Visitors can enjoy a full programme of family entertainment including live music, face painters, climbing wall, a bouncy castle from 10am.
