This season is producing the closest racing seen for many seasons in Formula Ford 1600 with Jake Byrne, Adrian Pollock and Jonny McMullan the winners to date. Jake Byrne has been very impressive to date he has scored three race wins and started from pole position on five occasions.
Pollock has won two races and has yet to start from pole position while McMullan has one race win and one pole position. He is concentrating on the Irish and National Formula Ford Championships, so the battle for the 2015 Championship is between Byrne and Pollock.
