Tool Dynamics Irish Supercar Championship ready for off!!
New name, new sponsors and new drivers – that’s the message from the newly named and fast growing Tool Dynamics Supercar Championship. Having inked a deal earlier this month with Tool Dynamics as title sponsor, they have now announced a host of associate partners. Ferodo, Celtic Car Parts, Dublin Crystal, SHP Engineering, Des Moore Rallying and Racecarsdirect.com are all onboard, while vistors to the ASK awning in 2016 will be treated to helpings of crisps from Keogh Farms and fresh coffee from Monsoon Estates Coffee.
2015 Champion Peter Barrable is back to defend his title but will face a tough challenge from a host of new drivers to the class. Former karter Bobby King will make his debut in the title winning Rod McGovern car, while former Supercar winner Alan Dawson will make a return with Sean Woods Racing. Ginetta Junior Ireland ex-champion Andy O’Brien also moves up and will take the wheel of the Ken Bolger Motorsport car, previously driven by Dave O’Brien.
There are currently 15 drivers on the championship entry list with more to be added in the coming weeks ahead of the opening round of the championship at Mondello on April 17th.
