From 19 December 2016 to 15 March 2017, Peugeot Avenue Paris is hosting We love Dust’, an entertaining tribute to Team Peugeot Total, set to take part in the upcoming edition of the Dakar Rally. Two emblematic Peugeot Sport vehicles are given pride of place: the new Peugeot 3008 DKR, defending the brand’s champion status for its maiden adventure in January’s Dakar race, and the Peugeot 208 WRX as it gears up for the World Rallycross Championship.
Visitors can enjoy two immersive experiences in which they become official drivers of Team Peugeot Sport’. Each visitor is invited to sit at the wheel of a Peugeot 2008 DKR and drive it in a rally environment. On-board cameras immortalise the learner-drivers’ thrills. Images of the participant driving are then incorporated into a film entitled Team Peugeot Sport’ which the budding rally-driver then receives by e-mail. They can thereby relive their drive and share it on social media.
Another amusement transforms visitors into Sébastien Loeb’s co-driver. Wearing a virtual-reality headset, the participant takes a seat on board a Peugeot 3008 DKR to accompany the renowned champion around rally tracks.
Alongside the Peugeot 3008 DKR, designed to take on the Dakar Rally’s varied terrain, visitors can discover the new Peugeot 3008 GT which includes the Advanced Grip Control’ traction system for confident driving on any surface, whether snow, mud or sand.
A wide range of products related to the Dakar Rally, Peugeot Sport, and the new Peugeot 3008 can be found in the Peugeot Avenue Paris store on the Champs-Elysées and at the site: http://boutique.peugeot.com as well as on the online Peugeot Sport store: www.peugeotsport-store.com
