INSTAFOREX LOPRAIS TEAM
Is it yesterday or today?
It can´t be true! Today´s initial phase of the stage was almost identical to the yesterday´s one from our point of view. Shortly after the start of the speed trial we encountered the same problem. The power steering pump again! With the only difference that it is raining today. Another loss of 27 minutes.
What do we feel? Futility and frustration … In addition, further progress of the stage was not smooth either and our loss has even increased… Due to the poor conditions during our telephone call the explanation will be provided probably only in the video. We do not know if the results will have to be modified, because half of the trucks did not pass through WP3 and it is not yet clear what the organizer will do with that.
What should we expect tomorrow? Stage 6 from ORURO to LA PAZ at a total length of 772 km, of which 513 km measured. Whether we will drive the whole length will depend on the weather, which is very unpredictable here. Perhaps we won´t even relish the beauty of Lake Titicaca and we will be happy to arrive in time to LA PAZ, a small town at an altitude of 4000 meters above the sea level.
Greetings from Aleš Loprais
