The Masters Superbike Championship continues to be Ireland’s most attractive Motorcycle Racing Series to competitors, spectators and sponsors as existing backers continue to support the championship for 2017 and two new sponsors join the series. The Young Rider of the Year award has also retained its backing for another season allowing the championship to continue to support young Irish Motorcycle racing talent.
Masters Pre-Injection championship sponsors Principal Insurance have been open for Motorcycle Insurance business in Ireland since 2015, bringing not just welcome competition and hard-to-beat premiums, but the specialist knowledge and commitment to service that Irish bikers crave.
Having become a partner of the Masters Championship at the start of 2016, Principal Insurance have been active in promoting the series through ticket giveaways and promotional events and also provided a prize fund for the final round of the 2016 Pre-Injection championship. The Masters Superbike Championship is delighted to have the continued support of Principal for the 2017 Championship.
Joining Principal as series partners for 2017 are Omega Environmental and Auto Body Solutions. Omega are new to Motorcycle Racing and will use the Masters to promote their pest control, wash room and environmental services. Auto Body Solutions offers an extensive range of Van conversion products, Van lining kits, Van shelving systems and accessories and have previously supported Mondello Park rounds of the National Championship. This season they will expand their involvement to become an associate sponsor of the Masters.
Long term backers of the Masters Superbike Championship, Irish Ferries, Safety Direct and Media Partner Radio Nova will also continue into 2017 making the Masters one of Ireland’s best supported Motorsport championships.
The Masters Superbike Championship ‘Young Racer of the Year’ award returns for its second year in 2017 with continued backing from Mondello Park owner Martin Birrane, Dawn International and AJ Plumbing Supplies. The support of these sponsors means that at the end of 2017 one of Ireland’s top young riders will be provided with invaluable financial assistance for their 2018 season.
The Masters Superbike Championship and Young Racer of the Year awards take place over seven events between March and October. All of the information on the series and its sponsors can be found on www.masterssuperbike.ie
