Motorsport Ireland and the Royal Irish Automobile Club has announced the appointment of Leo Hassett as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Leo arrives via DCC PLC company Exertis and brings over 20 years commercial leadership in national, International and multinational organisations. His appointment will further strengthen the services to both Motorsport and RIAC members.
“We are delighted to welcome Leo to Motorsport Ireland and the RIAC, we are lucky to have attracted an executive of his calibre,” John Naylor, President Motorsport Ireland and Arthur Collier, Chairman RIAC said.
“It’s an exciting time for myself and our members as we seek to secure and grow our sport. MI and the RIAC have a proud history as the delegated FIA motorsport authority in Ireland and it is on this foundation I hope to build an enlarged community, participating and benefiting from a renewed commercial focus. I look forward to working with the nationwide motoring sport community to craft and execute a bold vision for Motor Sport in Ireland” said Leo Hassett.
