Melanie Derflinger reports;
Due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, we had a very different start to the 2020 racing season. During these challenging times the T Sport Bernau team have been staying positive and trying to use the extra time we have been given to prepare the truck and equipment to its optimum for the delayed start of the 2020 season.
We are very happy that we can now present our brand-new race truck with its new livery for the 2020 season. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our team partners who have continued to stand by us, allowing us to make all of our preparations ahead of time.
We are still hopeful there will be a 2020 FIA European Truck Racing Championship. If things go ahead as planned, there will be six rounds for us to compete in this year, starting on the last weekend of August in Most, Czech Republic.
August 29-30 Most, Czech Republic
September 12-13 Zolder, Belgium
September 26-27 Jarama, Spain
October 3-4 Le Mans, France
October 17-18 Hungaroring, Hungary
November 14-15 Misano, Italy
In the meantime, T Sport Bernau are excited to provide fans of truck racing with some virtual racing action when Antonio Albacete races in the ETRC Digital challenge, an eRacing Truck Racing Championship beginning today, on 24th May at 18:00 CET with a virtual race at the famous Hungaroring. We are keenly anticipating how Antonio takes to racing on a simulator and the new challenges it presents compared to racing a real-life race truck.
