Irish Stryker Sportscar class has announced a new partnership with Dublin’s top used car superstore, Bill Griffin Motors.
The Griffin family have strong historic ties to both the motor trade and to Motorsport, with Bill and his two sons Dave and Darren all having competed in the Stryker class in recent years.
For 2021, the class has attracted some newcomers to take on the established names and as a result the grids have increased significantly. The 2021 Championship kicks off this weekend at Mondello Park, as part of the new ICCR (Irish Championship Circuit Racing) promotion.
Dave Griffin, MD, Bill Griffin Motors. “This is a great association. We have raced with the Stryker class on and off for a few years and not only are they a great bunch of people, the racing is competitive too! Our family has a long history in Motorsport in Ireland and I’m delighted to have teamed up with the class to promote our new Superstore!”
Andy D’Alton, Class Co-ordinator, Irish Stryker Championship :”I’m delighted to welcome Bill Griffin Motors onboard as our title sponsor. The Griffins are already very much part of the Stryker family so to it’s a great partnership and we will do our best to promote their wonderful new Superstore (It’s off the N7 at the Kingswood Exit by the way!)”
About Bill Griffin Motors:
Bill Griffin Motors can trace their heritage back to the original Griffin’s Garage which opened on the Naas Road in the 1950s. They opened their own doors in 1989 and have been providing our customers with the best quality used cars at the best possible value ever since. They are proud to have built lasting relationships with their many customers over the years and to have maintained their independent, family run status for all this time. They have recently relocated to a state of the art Superstore just off the N7 at Kingswood where they stock over 350 cars.
