Lancia Corse HF is preparing for the FIA European Rally Championship season finale at the Rally 6 Cities North of Portugal
Lancia Corse HF is preparing for the FIA European Rally Championship season finale at the Rally 6 Cities North of Portugal, the seventh and final round of the campaign, with a major objective still within reach: victory in the Teams’ standings. The Italian squad faces a decisive weekend on the gravel roads of northern Portugal, where every point could prove crucial.
Among the Lancia crews entered for the event, Andrea Mabellini and Virginia Lenzi, Davide Pesavento and Alessio Angeli, and Francesco Dei Ceci and Daiana Darderi are the crews nominated to contribute points to Lancia Corse HF’s Teams’ campaign. Alongside the collective challenge, Mabellini will also be looking to end his European season on a high.
At the wheel of the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale, Mabellini and Lenzi arrive in Portugal second in the overall standings with 98 points, six ahead of 2025 champion Miko Marczyk. After consistently featuring among the leading crews throughout the season, the Italian pairing will aim to defend their position in the final round of the championship, tackling one of the most eagerly anticipated gravel events of the year.
Lancia’s Rally2 line-up will also feature Nikolay Gryazin and Konstantin Aleksandrov, who played a key role in Lancia Corse HF’s WRC2 Team victory. Their return to the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale provides another opportunity to showcase the car’s capabilities on demanding and highly competitive terrain.
The Rally2 entry will be completed by Pablo Sarrazin and Yannick Roche, alongside Léo Rossel and Florian Barral, both competing under the Équipe de France Espoir FFSA banner. Their presence underlines the breadth of the sporting project built around the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale, bringing together different crews and teams within the international rallying scene.
Lancia Corse HF will also field a strong line-up in ERC4. Alongside Pesavento-Angeli and Dei Ceci-Darderi, both competing in the Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF, Sebastian Dallapiccola will line up with co-driver Lorenzo Mattucci. The three crews will face the challenges of Portugal’s gravel stages, with another opportunity to gain valuable experience and demonstrate the potential of the Rally4 HF.
The Rally 6 Cities North of Portugal will take place across six municipalities in the country’s northern region, with Fafe serving as the event’s operational hub and Guimarães hosting the start and finish ceremonies. The predominantly gravel route includes iconic stages such as the legendary Lameirinha, famous for the Pedra Sentada jump, as well as the new all-asphalt Monte Penha stage. The official itinerary features 17 special stages covering 181.10 timed kilometres, with the rally starting on Friday, 23 October, and concluding after two further days of competition on Saturday and Sunday.
For Lancia Corse HF, Portugal represents far more than the final round of the championship: it is the opportunity to fight for a major team result right to the finish, rewarding the work carried out throughout the season and highlighting the competitiveness of the Ypsilon rally range. From the Rally2 HF Integrale to the Rally4 HF, the Lancia project continues to progress through competition and the parallel development of its cars and crews, with the aim of strengthening the brand’s return to the forefront of European rallying.
